Shobha’s Rasoi - A unique blend of Indian food & relaxing surroundings
Shobha’s passion for food can be traced back to her roots in Tanzania – from childhood she always had a passion for cooking good food and kept a diary of recipes that she loved. Her passion for good Indian food culminated into opening her very own restaurant; the appropriately named Shobha’s Rasoi (Rasoi denotes “cooking” in Gujarati language). At Shobha’s Rasoi, she’ll be bringing her love of cooking to the fore from the kitchen with home-style recipes in her own monthly changing specials menu.
Diners may enjoy a host of familiar and unfamiliar dishes – all flavoursome and where possible with a nod to being health conscious. She aims to merge the exquisite flavours of India and East Africa with the timeless techniques of Indian cuisine to create a global contemporary style of offering.

Himanshu T2023-12-21Wonderful food It was an unplanned dinner. We simply ordered our mains. The naan bread was really good. The methi paneer was delicious and something different. The quantity was satisfactory. Service was quick, however this is a weekday experience. Another positive aspect is that they do not add any service charge to bill, which in most of the places is 12.5% ( although it is stated discretionary but it is embarrassing to not pay; 12.5% is too high for me)

Staff were very friendly, professional and attentive throughout our meal with friends. We never had to call a waiter, there was someone that always anticipated our needs. Well experienced staff and well run place. Food: from starters to deserts all was extremely good. It was obvious the manager took pride in the restaurant and managed it as his own. We weren't going to have deserts as the portions were very generous and we could manage a desert each so we were persuaded to have one to share after being told that the deserts were all made in house. We weren't disappointed the desert had us intrigued. So unusual.
